About Us
Sarah Clark, Founder, Fab Fertile
When Sarah Clark was 28 years old, she received a diagnosis of premature ovarian failure (loss of function of the ovaries before age 40). At the time she had chronic yeast infections, acne on her previously clear skin, dandruff, and a weird fungal rash on her chest. She didn’t realize until years later that these health conditions were connected to her fertility. She accepted the diagnosis and was fortunate to have both her children with donor eggs.
After her children were born her health began to suffer. She experienced chronic bladder infections, chronic sinus infections, chronic yeast infections worsened, toenail infections, vertigo, seasonal allergies, allergies to multiple antibiotics, and eczema. Years later she realized the root cause of her infertility was a food intolerance and later a gut infection. She did not discover this link until she was fully in menopause. Her message is one of HOPE. If you are still cycling naturally there are steps we can take with the tools of functional medicine.
She is a certified life coach with accreditation from the International Coaches Federation and a health coach with training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
She is the author of Fabulously Fertile – Supercharge your Fertility Naturally, Fabulously Fertile Cookbook and Fertility Preparation Program. She is super proud of her Signature Fertility Coaching Program, which includes functional lab testing, supports couples to make diet and lifestyle changes that dramatically improve the chances of a healthy pregnancy and baby!
On her Get Pregnant Naturally Podcast she shares that with a functional health coaching approach and natural fertility solutions we can eventually reverse infertility. Check it out on iTunes, Stitcher, and Google Play.

Brandy Buskow, Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner
Brandy’s health struggles started early on, as a child she struggled with chronic ear infections, chronic colds, and chronic tonsillitis. After having her tonsils and adenoids removed when she was 8 her symptoms seemed to improve for a short while but within a year or two she began a long-term struggle with digestive issues and weight gain. She was diagnosed with IBS when she was 16 and followed the standard advice of eating more fiber, exercising and worrying less.
In her early 20’s she started having severe anxiety and depression. She spent over a year trying several different medications but soon became frustrated by the side effects and with the help of her holistically minded grandmother weened herself off the medication with amino acids, and herbs. After seeing how amazing they worked she became passionate about learning anything and everything she could about holistic and alternative health. She went on the lose over 100lbs and managed her anxiety and IBS with diet, visualization, and exercise.
After a difficult pregnancy and birth of her third child, her health crashed and she began experiencing digestive issues again, extreme fatigue, body pain, panic attacks, and significant weight gain. She began researching again and was tested and diagnosed with celiac disease. Although giving up gluten helped some it didn’t address the panic attacks, body pain, and extreme fatigue. She started working with a Naturopath but didn’t see any results. Frustrated by the lack of results she embarked on a journey to educate and heal herself. Brandy is a certified Functional Diagnostic Nutrition practitioner, Certified Transformational Health Coach, and level 1 EFT Practitioner.
She is passionate about sharing her knowledge with others. She provides emotional freedom technique (EFT) for the Couples Coaching Program. Learn more about her struggle with anxiety and how she used the tools of functional medicine to heal.
Luna Hart, Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner, Certified Fertility Awareness Practitioner and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner
Luna’s challenges as a child were chronic strep throat, stomach aches, acne, depression and so much more. A family member was a pharmacist, and when her chronic strep continued every year and sometimes up to four times a year, he brought her home a never ending bottle of antibiotics. Throughout her younger years, she would take these “magical pills” whenever and however she wanted. This ended up causing tons of harm.
In her 20’s, she constantly battled a long list of horrific symptoms and very often was told by doctors that there was nothing they could do. She was diagnosed with rosacea, cystic acne, interstitial cystitis, IBS, parasites, blepharitis, and amenorrhea for seven years. The rest of her symptoms often went under the “mysterious infection or symptom” title.
Losing her menstrual cycle for seven years at such a prime fertile age of 21-28 was a complete mirror of her inner health. At this time she had incredible inflammation, accumulated toxins, and all sorts of imbalances in her digestive system that caused her liver to become stagnant and unable to continue its job in creating hormonal balance. Her menstrual cycle finally returned in a transformational way and has been flowing beautifully ever since.
She feels that all her hard work has given me a wealth of wellbeing and knowledge. She can look back on the dark nights of her soul where she thought there was no light at the other end of the tunnel. Now, she literally feels healthier than ever!
Luna Hart is a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner, Certified Fertility Awareness Practitioner, and a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner that’s passionate about helping sensitive women to find an empowering path to healing the root cause of their gut and hormone issues.
She provides nutritional support and guidance in the Couples Coaching Program.
Marika Walker, Registered Nutritional Therapist
Marika Walker is a Registered Nutritional Therapist, qualified with a diploma from the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM) in Manchester (UK) in 2014. Marika was also the Programme Director for CNM (Manchester) and continues to lecture and supervise clinics. She helps women and couples experiencing fertility issues to make sense of their situation and to optimize their health in preparation for conception, with a special interest in working with those who are preparing for IVF treatment.
Marika first became interested in nutrition while she was studying for her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Grenoble, France. She had a life changing accident when she was 30 and spent 7 months in a French trauma hospital to be able to walk again. After the accident, she wanted to start her family but struggled to conceive. She was searching for answers and found her way to nutrition. While she was studying nutrition, she tried IVF and ICSI, but after a few unsuccessful rounds and one miscarriage (and a lot of stress and tears!), she felt like there was another route for her, another calling to become a mother. She chose to adopt, and now has 2 beautiful girls through the adoption journey.
Marika has seen the effectiveness of a Functional approach with her many fertility clients. This includes the use of advanced testing to address the healing opportunities for imbalances and to improve the nutritional status of both partners so that solid foundations can be laid down for better fertility outcomes. She is passionate about supporting natural fertility and empowering her clients with the tools they need to best nourish themselves, whether they are trying to conceive naturally or using the assisted reproduction route. She wishes that she had all this knowledge when she was trying to conceive, and now loves to help other couples to achieve their dreams.
Marika lives in Edale, a picturesque Peak District National Park village between Manchester and Sheffield, in the north of England (UK). She is based there with her husband, 2 little girls, an Irish Wolfhound (called ‘Bear’), and 3 mad cats. She is originally from Finland, is multi-lingual, and misses her family, sauna, forest, lakes, proper winter and the Northern Lights
She provides nutritional support and guidance in the Couples Coaching Program.
Terra Vitiello, Certified Preconception Coach and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner
Terra had a plan. It was a good plan…
Go to college. > Go to grad school. > Build a thriving physical therapy practice. > Help lots of people regain function in their bodies. > Fall in love. > Get married. > Become a baby-making factory. (She hoped for 6!)
Terra loved growing up in a big, chaotic, action-packed household so naturally, she hoped to have a big family of her own one day. This hope, however, was challenged in 1998 when her OBGYN uttered 4 letters: PCOS.
This diagnosis left her with a ton of questions and no answers, medications that offered zero healing, a deeply wounded spirit, and a “good plan” that no longer seemed good.
For 10 years Terra searched for answers and hope, but her investigation consistently fell flat.
It wasn’t until she was in her 30’s that Terra discovered alternative medicine! She deeply appreciated the new hope and understanding that functional and naturopathic doctors offered her, but she quickly realized that the 20-40 minutes appointments every 3 to 4 months were not moving the needle for her. She knew she needed more help if she was going to have a shot at successfully unraveling and overcoming the many deficiencies and dysfunctions that lead to her PCOS label. Terra left these doctor appointments feeling overwhelmed and anxious. What Terra needed was a clear plan of action to implement daily, weekly, and monthly. She needed more time and personal guidance from her practitioner throughout her entire healing journey.
Her desire for a greater level of support and step by step guidance was eye-opening. There was clearly a gap that needed filling. So the “good plan” that no longer seemed good was back on track after one necessary pivot. Terra decided that the world didn’t need another physical therapist, but it did need qualified, passionate practitioners helping couples through each step of their preconception/fertility journey.
Today Terra is a certified Holistic Preconception Coach and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner. She spends her days assisting hopeful couples with boosting their fertility by helping them uncover and overcome the blind spots in their own health that are known to affect fertility and the health of a developing fetus
She provides nutritional support and guidance in the Couples Coaching Program.
Caitlin Townsend, Fertility Coach, Functional Nutrition Therapist, Professional Chef
Caitlin grew up loving all things natural and ate a diet full of freshly baked goods and home cooked meals. This love for food led her to go to The Culinary Institute of America, where her love affair with food continued.
She considered herself to be overall a healthy person. It wasn’t until she started trying to conceive that she realized there were many supposedly ‘normal’ things that were causing underlying health conditions and stopping her from having a healthy baby. Things such as gut issues, painful periods, mood swings and bloating which she thought were all ‘normal’ started to add up to the big picture and explain her ‘unexplained’ diagnosis. When she was diagnosed with unexplained infertility and her doctors were not able to come up with any solutions, she knew she had to become her own advocate and find the explanation.
It wasn’t until she went back to school and became a Functional Nutritional Therapist that she was able to uncover her hidden health issues and begin her recovery to true optimal health.
She fell in love with the process of combining her culinary knowledge and her functional nutritional education and was able to share this with others struggling to conceive. Caitlin uses a food as medicine approach, that tastes amazing along with a functional approach to get to the root cause.
When she isn’t geeking out about all things fertility, you will find her in the gardens of her lovely farmhouse or cooking up something tasty in her kitchen.
She provides nutrition support in the Couples Coaching Program.
Samantha Coffin, Fertility Coach
Samantha is a wellness + mindset coach primarily focused on helping women go from a life full of symptoms to a life full of living.
As a child, Samantha personally struggled with health and wellness. She doesn’t have many memories where she wasn’t sick. Yet the various doctors she saw had few answers and many told her that her experiences were “normal”.
In 2007, Samantha was diagnosed with Lyme Disease and Celiac Disease. Years into her gluten free diet, she was still struggling. This is where she finally said, enough is enough and took it upon herself to find the answers. With her Masters in Gender + Women Studies, ACE health coach certification and years of personal experiences, Samantha started offering her services.
Her personal journey is still in action. After 5 years of infertility, Samantha was finally diagnosed with Endometriosis and began furthering her education to serve the 1 in 10 women living with this dramatically misunderstood disease.
Samantha became a health coach because she believes everyone should be able to reach their optimal health in a much shorter time than she has. Our lives should be spent living!
She provides Fertility Coaching in the Couples Coaching Program.

Kaitlyn Haley, Nutrition Assistant
Kaitlyn holds a Master of Science in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Health Education and Behavior. Prior to her interest in nutrition, she originally wanted to pursue a career in nursing. She accidentally stumbled upon the world of functional medicine while in undergrad, which completely redesigned her future career goals in the healthcare field.
Kaitlyn has experienced health issues of her own that left her with no answers after numerous doctor’s visits. Between her own research and working together with functional practitioners, she was able to get to the root cause of her problems and improve her health. She firmly believes in the power of holistic medicine and is happy to bring her passion of helping others to this team.
